little things

miles loves anything mini...little rocks, buttons...pretty much anything teenie...madeline does too...maybe its their age but the tiniest things are the most interesting....because miles still loves sticking everything in his mouth these little things were giving me high anxiety so i decided to figure out a way he could enjoy them without all the stress of him choking on them.....so i found an old box and collected a bunch of little things ...little smooth rocks, miniature figurines, marbles, beads and a bunch of other things i found around the house...i always sit with him and let him look through the box....if he throws anything or puts something in his mouth its over i put everything away immediately and we try again the next day...now he sits and rarely does any of those things because he knows i'll take it away....i like this kind of play ...its quiet, its calm...and watching him inspect all these things is adorable....try and make a little things box for your little one!
